Dugg. And am trying really, really hard not to get too excited too soon about this. We do need to hear from Joss. But this is what we've been hoping for, for such a long time! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_biggrin.gif)

I keep trying to balance Alan's reliability against the breathless style of the "reporter" and I find I'm holding my breath every time I think about it. If this is real, I may end up dead from self-asphyxiation.

I'm with you Cabri...self-asphyxiation sounds about right. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_eek.gif)

Hello everyone,
I haven't been around in a while. A personal thought about the commet by Tudyk... Typically in the past whenever someone has said something like 'there is a rumor about a sequel, Serenity 2, in the works, etc.' Joss Wheadon has been pretty quick to say 'no, not really, false alarm, maybe someday, we all still want to do it, etc.' . This time, Joss hasn't said a word. That is strange. Anyone notice that besides me?
I think the silence is a good sign. It feels like a silent 'maybe' rather than a definate 'no, not now'.

Could be. A lot of people are thinking that.

The other side of the coin though, is that Joss has been known to go months without posting on Whedonesque. Those times were usually when he was working on something. Maybe he's working on a re-write of Goners? Or maybe he's on vacation with his family? Maybe he has the flu? Maybe he's enjoying our giddy excitement? Or maybe his computer died?

There are a lot of reasons Joss may not be commenting. There's the reason we're all hoping for, then there are the million other reasons.

I hate to be a downer, but other than Serenity, none of the Joss' recent projects have panned out. It's a weird business, show business, where deals are made and unmade in the blink of a Studio Suit's fickle eye. Until I buy my movie ticket or my direct-to-DVD Serenity, I can't get my hopes up too high.

Yes, I'm bitter and cynical. But puppies are cute, so it's not all bad.

The best things in life are cute and yummy when skewered on a stick, roasted over a pit, and smothered with BBQ sauce.

Mmm, now I'm hungry for Shih Tzu.

I used to go to a taco place that was notorious for serving ... well, not-beef. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_mrgreen.gif) Dunno if I ever ate any puppies but there is that possibility.
