Wow, standard boss rant...almost.

So you know that saying that scientist think 1/3 of people are sociopaths? Well I just saw two of them go at it.
My boss, Gail, does not know how to speak to people. The social cues on how to say things is not active in her. How she became a boss in a customer service job I will never know.

Enter a roundish woman with long hair and a daughter. My boss in her subtle rudeness walks down the aisle and steps over the little girl and goes on her way. The mother kindly says it's rude to step over people. She says now that she's Polish or something and that she now has to step back over her cause of her beliefs. My boss says she's sorry in the rudest tone possible pretty much and refuses because she might step on the girl's hand or something.... at least that was her reason....

Less than 10 seconds later the lady is ranting about crossing her and telling my boss that she should know what that means cause she looks like she's from the islands.... (my boss is black and has dreaded hair) My boss proceedes to tell her she's not from the island and not to judge people just cause their skin is dark and their hair. She also refused to walk back over the girl because she doesn't believe in supersition....

This went on for a good 3 minutes and I just got the lady on her way... I refused to get into that....


Just....wow people are crappy to each other....


I also ended up staying an hour and 30 minutes after closing cause my boss is nutsy....

V day was nice. Peter came by work to give me some candy and kisses.

I'm working on getting that profile picture fixed. I don't wanna shrink it and lose the detail so I asked gossi to look into it. Carmela....Payless believe it or not. They got some seriously nice stuff in there for spring this year.

Louise is back from Wondercon. She had a blast and saw herself in "Done the Impossible" She then proceded to make me drop my jaw with this photo.

He must have a thing for wearing layers.... every picture and each time I see him he's wearing layers.

I had a day off so I made plans and proceded to sleep too late to carry most of them off.
MegaCon is looming ever closer and I have resigned the fact I will not have a new costume by then.... So I will be wearing Zoë again. Also I haven't had the chance to wear Duellist Anthy again so I'll put that on as well.
I also have to design the badges for the gameshows....so that needs to be done ASAP so they can be laminated.

Got NO sewing done today. So that quilt for my nephew is taking longer than it should. I am STILL in total awe of my shoes... they just rock so hard.

Also if I see one more black girl say something like "What that is?" I am going to smack her and her parents.

So I will go into detail about past happenings later.... But right now I have on the sexiest shoes I have ever owned. You see I am not a material girl. I kinda walk the line of pretty but practical. But then...I realized I'm freckin 26.... why don't I realize I can do what I please and it doesn't have to be fine with anyone but me?
You see, I have that realization a lot and it still throws me for a loop. I can move to Ohio, Japan, Lichtenstein and I could...well I just could if I wanted.....

So these shoes....
I get shoes like once a year and only one pair...usually tennis or summer sandals. But there is a dress I want to make and it requires gold shoes...sexy gold shoes. I was just thinking about making the dress when these shoes appear....and I was done for. Now I HAVE to make the dress. They will be too perfect together. And get this... they were on sale for only $10. So now I have the sex shoes.... and they make me realize again...I'm 26 and I can do what I want.

If I get to go to Flan I am so wearing them to the cocktail party.
