Comes a day, few months after a Sindig, when the kidney's recover, the tremors subside, and the hunger awakens.

That resolute, undeniable need to Sindig again.

Ya know it when ya feel it, and you can look around the verse and recognize it in the eyes of others.

That day has come.

I'm proposin' April 4-6, 2008, on account if it's far enough past Xmas that thems what overspend got time to recover. Them that file early for tax refund prolly got their cashymoney already, and thems what gotta procrastinate and pay, ain't shipped in their paperwerk yet.

But them dates is just proposalry.

So sound off 'Coats.

Buy ya a drink?

I'm in no matter what, and I can pack Liam and DM into my luggage if I have to.

But what do y'all say to a Sun-Tuesday-ish thing instead. Cheaper rooms and such. And Tuesday Flying is way cheaper too.

And In April the IP should still be standing.

I am SO in!!! Vegas + Browcoats = HI-larity ensuing. I will walk if'n I gotta.

If the weekdays is cheaper, all the more fun we can have for the same price.

Puckie, I am sure we can find you a roomie or two (me included) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_biggrin.gif)

and let's invite Joss and see if'n he shows, shall we?

I'm in, hopefully I'll be able to swing it.

See you gotta work the deal like this... ask for your loved ones to spare the gifts, and chip in on your tickets and hotel for Christmas. You might only end up with $20 but hey, that's $20 you didn't have before... and like 4 drinks at the 2 for 1 hour at the Mai Tai.

What?

My only issue with this would be work and teaching, as I will hopefully be employed. Most systems around here aren't all that excited about letting their first year teachers ditch for a few days. Weekends are always better, but I'll do my damnedest either way. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_biggrin.gif)

I'm in.

And for them as don't know it, if you join the Imperial Palace's Player's Club, you can can rooms for $49 Sunday-Thurs and $79 for Fridays and Saturdays.

Can't beat a deal like that.

See y'all on the Job. Or the 'Dig. Or whatever we end up calling it by next year...

Oh no...Oh mother of God and all her wacky nephews, no! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_eek.gif)

That is the hubby and I's anniversary weekend.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_mrgreen.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_twisted.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_eek.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_mrgreen.gif) ...I think Vegas could be an EXCELLENT anniversary present!!!

Just gotta check the school and work calendar, and make sure that we can both make it without doing harm to GPAs and the like, but I wanna say that barring any major conflicts, we are SO there!!!

YEEEEEEEHAAAAAHHHHH!!!

Akin, tell your little lady friend that no wenching will be allowed in my presence this time (although she is quite good at it), and we are ready to party down with you all! (well, I guess we'll have the trial run at Dragon*Con, which is about as close to a Sindig we get around here!)

Go, I don't think we will traumatize Shiny too much. She has met me several times and still talks to me. So she shouldn't be that scarred after D*C.

Okay, think I've figured out who you must be... Hiya! Don't know if I ever mentioned that I received the logo-less shoulder bag... it'll be part of my 76th costume!

And, errr, sorry for stealing your t-shirt wench and all for Dragon*Con and quite possibly for many future events... aye, as I pointed out to her, she was the best t-shirt wench in the 'verse! So, she immediately demanded to examine my research material to determine how I reached that conclusion, so I had to give her a raspberry... heh...

Before I get too excited 'bout this, I need to remember that I work Sunday through Wednesday (working four, ten-hour shifts is great!) and I may have a hard time making a mid-week event... so might my lady friend, she is a college teacher... hmph... have to fly her out here, too...

Well, once a date is picked we'll have to see. I likely won't be able to tell for sure until less than a month in advance, due to the weird way our scheduling system works...

Shiny!

I wouldn't mind finding a roomie or two as well. Cheap is good. This whole no full time job college student thing is a bit more constraining than I would like. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_razz.gif)

Yeah, I guess that's true...I just wanted her to know that if she wanted to wench, she didn't have to do it to earn her keep like she did at B3 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_razz.gif) .

Vegas = Wenching = Worst of Ren Faire Behavior + Alcohol....somethin' about that equation seems to work...

BTW guys, the "wench" that Shinyhappyklin and I are referring to... she was a T-SHIRT WENCH, working for shinyhappyklin, and I've kinda stolen her away for Dragon*Con and future events, and who knows how much more... so, she's not your normal wench, and she's certainly not available for "wenching"!

On a related note, Shinyhappyklin runs a fine shop... Out To The Black Outfitters. They're a purveyor of fine goods all throughout the Rim and Border Worlds, and hell, they even made it to the Core every once in a while... the t-shirt-wench in question (who wants to be referred to 's "Mockingbird" since she doesn't have much of a web presence but she likes that nickname) was an indentured wench, trying to pay off her passage to Burbankia last December...

Also, for anyone looking for a quality browncoat...the people who do my leather/suede bodices ALSO have a line of coats and such inspired by Sci-Fi and anime shows. e_e It's not a cheap coat but oh my is it drool-worthy.

I can personally vouch for the quality of their products. Holy crap, I want one in time for the "sin"dig XD!
