Thanks for the kind words, folks. If you wanna thank anyone, thank Mike Russell, as he's the one who wrangled all of us into constributing to the project (a feat not unlike stuffing smoke into a bottle with a baseball bat).
And hey, if this thing takes off, maybe we'll get some more people willing to participate in the future....to say nothing of showing Dark Horse that there's more than enough sustained interest in Serenity-related comics to warrant more Big Damned Comics gracing store shelves on a regular basis.
That being said, while I'm pretty proud of "The Black", it's already making me wince just to look at it, seeing as how it was produced under such rushed circumstances over this past summer (this despite my having spent almost every spare moment from May until last goddamned week constantly bashing away on the strip), but to paraphrase a wise man: some things are never finished, they're merely abandoned.
Kinda like I was. By my parents. When i was four.
And then I was found by the circus!
Jah Yahweh, that's a post for another day, though.

The Black was definitely awesome and my favourite of the bunch so far, but the others are great too!
