Dearest Admins,
Some of my fellow Austenites, like Hero and Mav can not seem to find the board. They are getting an error message...how can I help lead them back?

Is anyone else having this issue? Can anyone help? I got nobody to play with in the Sandbox!

Austentite that is able to log in

I started getting that IPS driver error thingy yesterday evening whenever I tried to log in. For some reason, when I type in www.serenitymovie.org, I get the error message, but if I go to "Favorites" I get through. It's been like that since yesterday.

I'm not having any trouble and haven't had all day. *shrugs*

I tried clicking on your link above, it opened.
I tried typing it in and it worked.

Seems to have been an issue with the database tables, i've repaired them and all now seems to be cool.

The issue probably began last night when I was deleted old table entries in order to allow me to (drumroll please) fix the gallery!

The gallery appears to be now be working I am just doing a few final tests on it.

So dont hold your breath just yet.

I think she's someone who knows Ben, but more to the point the issue with the board is stille existing, but only if you arent logged in, in which case you need to go directly to the board, not the frontpage and log in and then you can get to the frontpage.

Back to business...I don't seem to be having an issue with the board apart from a little slowness at points.

OK well the issue I was reporting I have now resolved, and am hoping it will stay resolved, as for slowness, well i was conducting some work on the database for a while both yesterday and today, that would cause slowness, so hopefull that's it.

Because here at work I clean out my history/cookies/etc every week and when I come back I type in the url for the forum index by heart (www.serenitymovie.org/browncoats/forums/index.php?), except this time when I typed it in, it took me to the home page. So does that mean you've changed the url for the forum index? or were you just working on something or other? or was it a fluke, some random cosmic ray scrambled my computer all four times I tried it?

ETA: Or perhaps it's the vocab -- I consider 'frontpage' to be 'home page' (www.serenitymovie.org) and 'board' to be the 'forum index' -- maybe I'm backwards? Cuz I can't go directly to the 'board'.

OK, worked out what you are talking about now. If you really want to go straight to the forum index whilst not being logged in, then type, http://www.serenitymovie.org/browncoats/fo...dex.php?act=idx

That'll do it, otherwise you have to go through the portal.

OK just added an autoforward anyway so now www.serenitymovie.org/browncoats/forums/ will work as well
