Forgive me, but I can't seem to find the setting for this. I know the way I had things set before the board was moved, I had to check the box to track a topic. That's been reversed now. I'm assuming it's a setting in my controls somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Would someone let me know where it is please?

Hi MG. It looks to me like it's under My Controls, down the left side til you get to Subscriptions, open that up and then there is a way to click the dot on the right beside anything that is showing as a subscription and then down at the bottom is an unsubscribe command.
Only thing I could find. *shrugs*
By it being reversed does that mean that anything you respond to automatically makes it a subject or topic you're subscribed to?
I was thinking it already did that. Hmmmm....

You mean email notification of replies on threads and stuff? If so, that's either under 'Email Settings' then 'Board Preferences' (no tick means no email) or you can set it individually under thread options. I don't remember if you have to change both to start getting email, though.

I don't know where it is and it's driving me mad. I now have to remember to uncheck the box every time I post a thread or respond to one.
FM, the thing you're talking about is to unsubscribe to a thread to which you've subcribed. I found that. I don't see anything dealing with topic subscriptions in the e-mail settings, though. I had it set to not be checked by default so I didn't have to remember to uncheck it every time.
Cab, it's under e-mail settings. It's this thing "Enable 'Email Notification' by default?" Thank you.

I get that now, MG.
Sorry.

It's ok FM. It's my fault for not reading the fine print so to speak. It was right in front of me the whole time.

Thanks for trying to help.
I was also typing while I was looking around again so I said I didn't see it in e-mail settings when it was actually in there.
