Why does everything keep getting marked as if I haven't read it when I have? I know we've had this problem before, but it's much worse now than it was. Every time I read two threads, everything from yesterday on gets marked as unread again. It doesn't seem to happen if I just read the new post in one thread, though. Weird and frustrating.

This just happened to me again. I came into this forum and Askama's thread about subscriptions was the only one I hadn't read in here. I looked at it and the rest of the threads that had been posted or had new posts since the board was moved got marked as unread.

Anyone else seeing this?

Constantly for months and months. I'd already bugged gossi about it ... once or twice.

I found this happened in some areas and not others, I was member of two groups - one would work fine but the other would always have trouble remembering that I'd read posts

It's so odd. It hasn't happened to me for months yet it's happened to cab during that time. I actually looked for her post about it because I knew she'd had problems with it, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, it's happening to me now when I read just one thread and it's every time and in every forum.

OK we're in a good news/bad news scenario with this. I've done some checking and it's a known error for which there is a fix. At present the license is still with gossi and we are in the process of getting this moved to me. Once this is done I will have access to the fix and should then be able to implement it and (assuming it works) resolve the issue.

This is apparently done. You need to hit the mark all forums read button for it to kick in.

FYI, it just happened again. Yes, I'll do the mark forum read again.

It happened to me for a few moments yesterday, but cleared itself up right away so I didn't mention it.
