Full Version: Team Co-leaders... Supposed To Have Any Powers?

I'm co-leader of the Slightly Irregulars. But I don't seem to have ANY power in our forum. Our leader, TDBrown, would like me to be able to do some stuff... but I can't seem to do ANY stuff that our regular team members can't do.

Is that the way it's supposed to be??
HeroOfCanton
That's odd. I know my co-leader at the Austenites has the power to edit and delete posts. I don't know if he has all of the same powers I do like moving posts, because it's never come up, but I know he can at least change posts.

While we're on the subject of teams, did you by chance see my question about team PMs? Have you guys every used that feature, and if so did it work?
TVChick
Well, as I said, I have like NO powers. But I think our Cap'n has mass PM'd before. (Though I may be remembering wrong...)

He has to make you a forum moderator.

Ok, good to know. I think he thought that just by making me "co-leader" that I'd have whatever powers I was supposed to have. How does he go about making me a forum mod?

All I did was make post_hoc my co-leader and he was good to go. Actually, maybe I had to click some button. Let me go look again.

ETA Okay, I took a look at my team. Tell your leader to go under "Manage Team." From there, go to "Member Permission." Make sure he has selected "Yes" in all categories for you. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.
TVChick
Excellent! He got it figured out. icon_mrgreen.gif

Good! icon_biggrin.gif Now if I could just fix my PM problem. icon_confused.gif
MalGal
I'm glad to hear it's fixed, TVChick.

HoC, have you tried contacting gossi via e-mail? I believe he's the only one who can fix that.
cabri
The PM problem could also be because since he switched boards the new teams haven't been quite right. So much stuff on this board is screwed up. icon_sad.gif (Not the forum, of course, just the board itself.)

I was hoping to get an answer from someone here before I bugged him directly, but it looks like I'm going to have to.

Yeah, that's how I am on Spudyks.

Happy you worked it out!

Can anybody tell me what my leader can do to make my co-leader status work right? When I look at the team managment options it actually says I'm automatically a mod, but I don't have the mod privs...

Any ideas on what my leader can do?
cabri
Whatever...
