We do have Green Chartreuse though. It has only trace amounts of wormwood, and isn't as bitter as Absinthe. I think you can import Absinthe to the US, you just can't buy it here.
Bubbies, I hope you're feeling good about your travel. The U.S. is a fun place to visit, and Americans melt at the sound of an Aussie accent. Don't be like crazy parachute woman who was on my first flight from Los Angeles to New Zealand! She was, it seems, freaked out about flying - and the way her family calmed her down was by giving her a crash helmet and parachute to wear on the airplane. She wore them for the entire trip. Maybe she was calmer, but it sure freaked out the rest of the passengers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif) Ah, the 1980's.... |
