Hi my name is Mark James( I thought I had posted here??)
Well me and some aussie browncoats have been working on a feature length firefly fan film now for over 2.5 Years. We have spent 2000 hours building full scale sets, filmed (so far) 30 hours of tape and developed an original story within the verse into (hopefully) a feature length film that reflects the effort that has gone into it. This story titled "A Day in the verse" finds a young captain Jess Campbell, flying a sandfly class small freighter in a in and out of the moon of new melbourne, delivering mail and the sorts to the local planets. She has a crew member named carol who likes to tinker. Jess has a younger sister ; Mary, who is left to Jess to keep an eye on after their parents were killed in a reaver raid 7 years earlier. A day in the verse introduces several characters and situations that display the fagile and dangerous nature of ... life and the choices people make. Hope you view our trailer (You Tube "Bellflower trailer") + our docos. We have two months left to shoot, then a hard 6 months editing to release end of year or im divorced. There will be onen more trailer released in a couple of months ~ 3 mins. + several small docos. See you around |
