Honestly, I have no idea, I wasn't going to continue with the subscriptions unless I incurred additional unexpected costs, like if i need to renew the license for IP Board. But if these are coming up for renewal now then I guess I have to look at it now. I'll get back to you.

I have another question in that case. The paid membership gives us more features. Will we lose those if you discontinue paid memberships?

Oooh, that's a good question MG. I would prefer not to lose the extra features.

Some of them haven't worked since before the board change. I'd like to know ahead of time if PM storage is going to be reduced, though, so I can download mine. (I'm terrible about deleting PMs! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_redface.gif) )

Same here Cabri... I've got a load of 'em and would need to clear them out and keep the most important ones to me.
I'm perfectly happy donating, admin. Love the extra features I get with it and like contributing to the community. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif) |

Well, I clicked the link, checked the subscription box, and nothing happens. What do I do now?

You click on the link then select the radio button for paid members then click on the big button (Continue to select a payment method) beneath it.
This then takes you to another window for payment method, which is actually fairly pointless as there is only one payment method, paypal, so you select that radio button and click the button that says Continue. Now you will find yourself on a page which has a Paypal button on it. This will take you to Paypal where you can either login and make payment using your account or if you do not have an account click on the continue link next to all the credt card symbols which allows you to pay via Paypal with a credit or debit card. Hope that makes it clear. |

I had already done all that, but the big bar button wouldn't take me anywhere. I just tried it again, though, and it worked this time--so I have my name back in lights, as it were.
Thanks, anyway. |

I tried to renew my paid membership and I can't seem to be able to figure it out despite having done it for several years in a row. I click on the purchase paid membership and it takes me to a list of my past subscriptions, but no link for a new one.

I click on the purchase paid membership and it takes me to a list of my past subscriptions, but no link for a new one. Mine pops up with a dot to fill and a payment method choice box and leads me right thru it. I'm using Chrome, Aboleyn. Have you tried another browser? It does also show past payments right above the dot spot and the payment method choice. |

It takes away all of my red superpowers for a day and won't let me renew until the next day. Like it wants me to suffer. But all is well now, I just renewed. |
