That quote at the beginning of the film was specifically about the Nexus 6 generation. The 'next step'? The one that's almost indistinguishable? So...the prior ones were easier to spot? Like Deckard (and Holden?)?No, doesn't make sense, unless most all peeps are, and have been replicants since way back. Even then, it don't make sense...and in deleted scenes Deckard is pictured with his ex-wife- why bother with that if he's a rep? I agree with Ridley's son. Ambigious-lovin' Chrisisall |

As I said previously, and in my review, I'm not claiming Deckard is a replicant, and never even considered the possibility until the '91 Director's Cut and Ridley's comments about it. I only analyzed the film to see if there were elements which could lead one to conjecture that he was. I don't think it matters one way or the other in order to enjoy this great film.

I don't think it matters one way or the other in order to enjoy this great film. The fact that it doesn't matter one way or the other is the point of this great film, IMO! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_mrgreen.gif) Holdenisall |

Guess what Santa bought me...
The 5 disc limited edition HD gift set! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_mrgreen.gif) Looking forward to watching it in all its formats. This film holds a special place in my heart as the directors cut was the first film my hubby took me to see when we started dating! |

So ... for the first time ever I've seen Blade Runner without narration and with a unicorn daydream.
I like it better. But I don't know that I would have if I had never seen it with narration and without a unicorn daydream. P.S. Hell yes on Joanna Cassidy, even now. Kudos to women who let themselves age naturally. |
