Tomorrow is my wonderful wifey's 30th birthday, and alas I have no gift to give her so I would ask you all to cordially offer your congratultions to her on this momentous and(although she doesn't say so) kinda daunting life moment!

By no means am I limiting it to those 30 and over but perhaps those who are could respond specifically and offer their words of wisdom to her since she is just now joining us in our illustrious group!

I'LL GO FIRST IN THE WISHING OF GREAT AND WONDERFUL THINGS TO COME!

I love you ELLEN!(insert kiss here)Mwaahh!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_biggrin.gif)

Wimmins gets better wit age and you're still jus a chyle!

The best is yet to come, but don't just stand around waiting for it. Go! Find it! Grab it and live it for all it's worth!
Face it, you're not getting out alive, so enjoy every second. Take skiing lessons. Take skindiving lessons. Go to Tibet. Do all you could 'never afford' to do. Hell, you could 'never afford' the first child! See how easy it is?

Cheers!

Tim

For some reason, I had always thought everything would go to hell in a handbasket when I turned 30, but I started getting gray hairs and wrinkles before that, so when 30 came I said "Screw it." The past 2 1/2 years have been great! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_biggrin.gif) (Especially with the help of a little hair color. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_wink.gif) )

Happy Birthday!

1. Happy birthday to Mrs. Wolf.
2. If I'm following your analogy correctly, since I'm not in my twenties yet am I just getting the script in the mail or something?

The happiest of birthdays to Ellen, and a Happy Thanksgiving to all the wolf-359 clan.

Where you been is good and gone; all you keep's the gettin' there.

You've already proved you're smarter than your husband, so "joining his illustrious group" is really more of a bonus for us than for you...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_wink.gif)

Happy Birthday Ellen! My 30's were the best. No grays until my 40's thank god, but all that doesn't matter. It's how you feel that matters. I hope it's a wonderful, warm and happy day for you!!!

"Hi honey, for your birthday I got you a RWD topic!"

"What?"

"Yeah, it's ... uh ... well wishes from a bunch of people who ... uh ... some of them are way over 30!"

"Uh ... thanks?"

"See, your innocence has ended."

I howl in Ellen's honor.

Most people I've known, especially me, didn't know much worth knowing before age 20, before age 30, for that matter. From infancy to 20, I learned what my Identity was supposed to be, I had hard emotional lessons, and absorbed a lot of data: food for the intellect.

As it turned out, most of what I learned then did not work for me, and I had to dump it.

Wisdom comes later if we ever get it at all.

There are exceptions. From most of your posts, DT, I would never have guessed you under 20!!

I agree! I had to dump most of what I learned too. And learn some new things, too. Constantly learning new things. It's exhausting sometimes....

And Cit - you are indeed brill! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_lol.gif)  507.gif ( 584bytes ) Number of downloads: 4

Bein' as Mrs Wolf was wise enough to be born on the same day I was, I think she'll be just fine in the ranks of the elders.

Wolf, I would recommend you buy her a nice dinner and spend it arguing over whether she's a Scorpio or a Sagittarius. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_wink.gif)

Ppl don't have to get old, CF.
Consider the alternative.

No one realizes that old
is more fun til they gets there.

Well the festivities were a bit festive, there was pumpkin cheesecake and turkey and family and some nudie shots of Mrs. from when she was a bout 3 or 4. I never claimed she had a NORMAL family!!

There were some PRIVATE FESTIVITIES as well! Our dear friend T.D. Brown informs me that this is only the beginning of her peak time for PRIVATE FESTIVITIES!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_eek.gif)

Crap,I gotta stop bein' old!!

(Love Ya hon's)

Thanks for the rousing responses all.

Moby...you are a treat!
