GASPcon8 Pittsburgh Pa Nov 3rd & 4th
http://www.eonsreach.com/gasp/gasp_con/gaspcon.html GASPcon8 is the 8th year of the convention. It is our attempt to try to bring a gaming convention close to home. It is a smaller convention (nowhere near GenCon or Origins) but it is for gamers by gamers. I belong to GASP (Gaming Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania) and am just trying to get the word out, in case anyone is near Pittsburgh and wants to have a nonstop weekend of gaming. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_biggrin.gif) So, if anyone is bored, and feels like showing up, feel free. We haven't started officially taking suggestions from DMs/GMs for running games, but I like to get things done early. The convention has boardgames, miniatures games, RPGs, CCGs, Non-CCGs, etc. Thanks. Tim, aka "The Knight of Frost" on the Gasp Forums. http://eonsreach.com/gaspforum/index.php |

This was on our forum, so here is some more information.
------------------------------ For all you early adopters out there the Warhorn registration site is up and running. http://www.warhorn.net/gaspcon8/ No event listings yet but you can sign-up and you will be the first to see them when they are ready. If you pre-register you will save 5$ off the door price. A fews important bits of information.... You must have cookie enabled for the site to work. If this is a problem for you we will have a mail in registration option available soon. Once you register you will be able to look around but you will not be able to sign up for events When you register you must click on the Pricing and Payment link at the top of the page and submit your paypal payment to complete the registration. Once payment is recieved we will clear the account and you will be able to sign up for events (Takes about 24 hours). If you are planning on running at least 8 hours of events and have run events for us in the past please contact Dan Cetorelli (email found on www.gaspgamer.com) before registering. If you are planning on running an event at the con and have never run an event for us before you need to register. If you run at least 8 hours of events we will refund your registration fee after your last event. The GM submission forms will be available soon. Thanks, The Bard |

GASP is taking GM/DM submissions in case you want to run any CCG/Miniature/Boardgame/RPGs, etc.
If you run 2 events your admission is free : ) I plan on running 3 events this time around. One set in the Midnight Setting focusing on Dwarves and outcasts of the Durgis Clan using D&D 3.5, one using H.A.R.P. (ICE's new RPG High Adventure Roleplaying) dealing with Kobolds : ), and a third set in my Marth Ice World free setting where everyone in the party died and turns into the Walking Dead. My Marth Ice World Setting can be found at the following site: http://marth.bravehost.com in case you want to take a gander. Player registration I think will be opening soon. |

The Con is this weekend, in case anyone wants to show up and pay at the door.
Thanks. Now I have to get back to the preparation for my 3 RPG games... Man, I hate being a procrastinator. But it sure does feel good procrastinating while you are doing it, hehe. |
