Heya guys. I'm EXTREMELY interested in illustrating a Firefly/Serenity comic for Serenity Tales. I write a bit here and there, but the problem is...I just can't think up a story interesting enough on my own! So I'm posting here to look for any writers who'd be interested in collaborating on a comic to submit to the site. You can find some of my older art here: http://-jin-.deviantart.com/. I should be updating that account soon as well. So if you like what you see in my DeviantArt gallery, feel free to contact me through email or AIM (both displayed on my dA page)!

Hey there,
What a coincidence - we're looking for artists! Check out our site - www.stillflying.net We're "Virtual Firefly", and hopefully you'll find our writing very professional. Check out a script or two from our second season (currently released the 12th episode of season 2 yesterday) and see if you're interested in turning one of our stories into a comic for Serenity Tales. Email me : dcwashingtons@yahoo.com And thanks! |

I wouldn't have thought turning an episode into a comic would be viable to be honest, in terms of the amount of time involved...
I'll see if I can come up with any ideas. |

Gossi - it would probably be a long comic, yes. But it can be written as one comic per act, just like the official Serenity comics are written, and they combine to form the graphic novel of an entire episode.
Sure it could take some time until the whole episode is finished, but if you want a graphically illustrated GOOD story, then I think Virtual Firefly has those stories. This post has been edited by dcwashington: Oct 24 2006, 11:49 AM |

Sounds interesting to me, and I'll give the scripts a look. I'll be sure to make contact when I've got something!
