Hmmmm... This thread isn't really meant as a "Help, dev, something's broke!" kind of thread. It's more of a '*poke* *poke* *poke* *snicker*' kind of thread.
Just saying if there are 3 "help me" threads along with this one, this is the last thread dev should read. Unless he wants a break from all the bitchin' and whingin', in which case it's the first thread he should read.   And I personally love the bleached blond look, dev! My pointing it out was more a comment on my obliviousness than on the actual pic.  Are you still blond or was that strictly a wedding thing?

QG sent him an email and his response was a little confusing. What we do know is that apparently the vBulletin being unlicensed has been discovered? maybe?, plus something about him transferring us to a different server and to freeware though that is less clear.
We have told him over and over we will pay for the vBulletin and the server, it's just we don't have anyone at Goners who is anywhere near as experienced with forums as he is. QG offered to host it on her server last time there was a server issue, she even offered to take it over completely and learn as she went, but afaik he never responded to that. We really like the vBulletin and the rep system the way we've adapted it. Comment boxes and PMs just aren't the same. But we're just a tiny group of friends who know that we're completely on gossi's sufferance, and that once the forum is gone our group could be scattered to 4 or 5 different forums. That would be bad.

I'll also go through the boards and see new replies in topics, but I haven't gotten the email. They I log in the next day (email account) and there they are from 20 hours ago, after I've read all the topics already.... is it my email? Or is there a board delay we are unaware of? |

Well the board is dispatching them as and when it should, so it would seem to indicate your email. That is backed up to some degree by the fact that your email is telling you that it was received 20 hours ago.
