So the weird thing that has been happening with me lately is that I am having trouble posting. I can get into threads, I can read them, and everything is fine and loads at normal speeds. But when I hit the "add reply" button, sometimes it takes forever, and a lot of times it just doesn't happen.
Sometimes I can go back and refresh it and apply, and have it work, but other times I have to start all over again. Anybody else having similar problems? Is it me? Is there something I can fix? |

I don't know if I'm going to be able to post this or not because it's giving me an authorization mismatch.

I'm having the exact same problems, Joni. I was beginning to think it was just me.

A broken script would not cause intermittent operation, it would cause it to not work.
As far as I can see there are no issues with the board, it's probably a load issue, and sadly unless I win the lottery, we can't afford a dedicated server. Sorry. |

Weird. I don't really know much about these things, but I would think a load issue would affect the rest of the board operations more... not just slow down/conk out on the "add reply" option.
Thanks for checking on it though. :hearts admin: |

Getting authorization mismatchs every time I post with Firefox (Authorization mismatch - please go back and try again. If you have been trying to access a function incorrectly, please use the proper method.). I can't even log out after I logged in, I'll get "Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available.".
Camino (also with Gecko 1.9), Safari and Opera work fine though. Cookies are allowed, tried it several times with deleting cookies in Firefox. It didn't help :/ It's weird because other Inivision Boards work fine with Firefox |

Sorry Corny, I am sure we can figure out the problem within the next 24 hours. I will ask around. Welcome to the board.

Woah nice, I already thought I'd have to use a seperate browser just for this board.
Thanks! Edit: I checked if it's not because I'm using the Firefox Beta (3.5b4), but it also occures on the stable 3.0.10. Edit2: Aha! It's because I blocked the cookies of third-party sites in Firefox. Strangely I do the same in other browsers, but this preference causes problems in Firefox on this specific board. No idea why, but it seems to be solved now... |
